A minimum of 5 years of healthcare data integration and implementation experience
Expertise with healthcare data integration, specifically using the FHIR standard
Expertise with Mirth Connect and the ability to develop custom, scalable channels for integration
Function as the subject matter expert for Mirth Connect
Hands-on experience on HL7 and FHIR based integrations
Experience developing internal and external API interfaces using NextGen Mirth application
Experience with development, test and deployment of interfaces
Strong experience in XML technologies, databases and SQL
Previous integrations with Epic and / or Cerner is a plus
Solid knowledge of interface formats and coding standards such as ADT, LOINC, SNOMED, CCD-A, X12 and FHIR
An understanding of Web Services, JSON and API’s to transmit data objects
Working knowledge of healthcare terminology and standards (e.g. ICD-10-CM, CPT, RXNORM...)
Experience with Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
Excellent analytical and effective communication skills
